About the assignment

We are seeking a chemical engineer for our client in Gothenburg for a consulting assignment through us at Bemannia. The position is expected to start immediately and last until 2026-05-06, it is a full-time position and takes place on-site at the client from 07:15 to 16:15 Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities

The role of the chemical engineer involves responsibility for sampling, analysis, and control of water and steam systems to ensure stable operation and high plant availability. The work is performed both in the laboratory and out in the facility, focusing on quality, preventive maintenance, and development of analysis methods.

• Perform sampling and analysis of boiler water, steam, condensate, as well as cooling and process water

• Calibrate, maintain, and service laboratory instruments and manage external analyses

• Participate in the improvement and development of the sampling and analysis operations

Your qualifications

• Basic vocational skills and/or high school qualifications

• Good knowledge of water chemistry for energy facilities

• Computer skills, Excel/Word, Lotus, and IFS

• Previous experience as a chemical engineer in the field

• Ability to work independently
